Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity; provide directions and support a welcoming environment for worship, educational, administrative, and community activities.
  • Document incidents, observations, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
