About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Reception Specialist in Quakertown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify credentials as required, and document guest, vendor, and/or delivery arrivals in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer questions, provide directions, and communicate with employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors while helping to support an orderly front desk environment.
  • Maintain accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to front desk activity, access control, and security-related events.
