Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established communication channels as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
