About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and visitor processes. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintaining visitor and driver logs.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
  • Support a professional, orderly environment by reporting hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations through required reporting channels.
