As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, parking areas, access points, loading docks, offices, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
