About The Position

As a Security Officer Area Patrol Driver in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and support badge, sign-in, and delivery protocols in line with location requirements.
• Observe equipment, gates, doors, and restricted areas during patrols and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
