As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, employee entrances, and the business perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity through clear and timely reports.
