As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Full Time in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
