About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in North Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and primarily operate a vehicle to support security-related operations. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to healthcare facility personnel, visitors, patients, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
