About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities across the site. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and assist with visitor and contractor processing in accordance with site requirements.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, communicating clearly with site contacts and/or local responders, and completing required reports before the end of each shift.
