As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Tour in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring travel throughout the property to help identify and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Security-related experience of 1+ years is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for theft-related activity, policy violations, and/or disruptions, and assist with access control, crowd management, and incident response as needed.
• Support daily operations by communicating with store personnel, assisting with directional inquiries, and completing assigned reports related to patrols, incidents, and security-related events.
