About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Route in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, observe access to restricted areas, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site guidelines.
• Support loss prevention and store operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and communicating professionally with customers, staff, and first responders as needed.
