Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry, and support badge and sign-in processes in accordance with location requirements.
  • Observe equipment, materials, and/or restricted areas for potential concerns, and communicate maintenance, access control, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
