Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support alarm response, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or first responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and/or delivery access while following post orders and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support access control and after-hours building operations by verifying authorized access, assisting with directions, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
