As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Mornings in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, exterior perimeters, access points, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or irregular conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications accurately in accordance with site-specific reporting procedures.
