Join Allied Universal as an unarmed residential patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents with exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will use teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach to deliver reliable service while responding to concerns and completing routine patrol activities throughout the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to property management or designated contacts.
• Support a professional residential environment by communicating clearly with residents and staff, assisting with routine security-related inquiries, and following Allied Universal post orders.
