As a Security Officer Patrol Coverage in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies throughout the hotel or resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating matters when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas while documenting security-related activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, provide directions and support during disruptions, and communicate clearly with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
