Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, lobbies, and/or exterior areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, support tenant needs, and follow post orders for the location.
  • Complete routine reports and document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns while communicating professionally with tenants, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership.
