As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Agent in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access awareness, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with entry procedures, directions, and general support while following location protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues observed during patrols and routine activities.
