As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Afternoons in Horicon, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established protocols.
  • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required logs and reports.
