About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Access Control in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and patients. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and employee access in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities while maintaining awareness of healthcare operations and privacy expectations.
