As a Security Officer Driver for Patrol in Jacksonville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, help document daily activities and incident details, and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support a professional environment by helping to manage visitor interactions, following post orders, and assisting with de-escalation during stressful or fast-moving situations.
