As a Security Officer Driver for Armed Patrol in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, control entry and exit activity, and support visitor processing in accordance with post orders and location requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence while handling security-related concerns, assisting with de-escalation when needed, and preparing accurate reports on incidents, patrol activity, and policy-related violations.
