Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor access points, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, assisting with visitor direction, badge and/or credential checks, and other property access functions in support of daily operations.
