As a Security Officer Driver Credentialing in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, check in authorized personnel, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, trailer yards, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, as assigned.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns by observing site activity, reporting unusual behavior, and following established escalation procedures.
