About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access activity, and respond to alarms and other security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Valid Driver's License for 1+ Years Required
  • Must Have Proof of High School Diploma/GED

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify unauthorized access or security-related concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and complete required reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.
