As a Security Officer Driver Credential Control in Georgetown, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and employee access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service, clear communication, and a welcoming presence while supporting a secure workplace. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the food and beverage production location by verifying credentials, processing visitor and contractor entry, and maintaining required access records.
  • Observe incoming and outgoing deliveries, vendor activity, and designated entry points in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document and report relevant details to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
