Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and operational facilities to help identify and report security-related concerns, unusual conditions, and policy violations.
Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and contractors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately in required reports and logs.
