As a Security Officer Badge Patrol in Boiling Springs, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a college campus, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate campus personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.
