About The Position

As a Security Officer Door Control in DAKOTA CITY, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, help to deter security-related incidents, document activity using computer or tablet systems, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food production location.
Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, parking areas, and facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
