About The Position

As a Security Officer DoD Patrol Driver in Roy, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify that only authorized personnel and approved visitors enter designated areas, following site protocols for identification, escort, and/or visitor processing.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and support investigations by gathering detailed notes and sharing information according to site procedures.
