Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Must be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all persons at the location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or driver entry as directed by site procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and other activity in required logs.
Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or local responders regarding security-related concerns, facility rules, and incident updates as needed.
