Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or driver entry as directed by site procedures, and document arrivals, departures, and other activity in required logs.
  • Communicate with site contacts, employees, and/or local responders regarding security-related concerns, facility rules, and incident updates as needed.
