As a Security Officer DoD Patrol Driver Clearance Required in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • 2 or more years of security-related experience are required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-oriented location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to address concerns and escalating matters through appropriate site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, helping to identify unauthorized access, unsecured entry points, and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, and/or visitor documentation in accordance with site policies, helping to support controlled entry and movement within the location.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or daily activities in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal personnel as appropriate.
