In this armed and driving role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will be a visible presence, provide exceptional customer service, and play a key part in supporting a secure environment, all while upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing communications, including calls and radio traffic, to support site operations.
Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents and requests for assistance throughout the location as needed.
Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch activities and incidents in accordance with site-specific policies.
Coordinate with on-site staff and security-related teams to facilitate prompt response to emergencies and critical situations.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points through electronic systems or physical verification.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner.
Support regular and random patrols by communicating updates and relaying important information to patrolling personnel.
Follow site-specific procedures and Allied Universal protocols to help to deter unauthorized activities and respond to incidents.
