Job Description
As a Security Officer - Security Dispatch in KANSAS CITY, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will help coordinate responses to security-related activity, monitor assigned areas, and support on-site teams through clear, timely communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter incidents, and document observations with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies at a financial services location.
• Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, access control activity, and/or camera systems, receiving calls for service, and coordinating response with on-site personnel and/or local first responders as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and communicating updates to appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy issues per site guidelines.
• Complete shift logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, escalating concerns through the chain of command and supporting business continuity during abnormal conditions.
