About The Position

As a Security Officer - Security Dispatch in Hillsboro, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will be the communication hub for security-related operations, monitoring cameras and alarms, coordinating officer response, documenting incidents, and supporting staff and visitors with professional customer service. You will stay visible in the control room, share clear updates, and help maintain order during routine activity and urgent situations. Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and/or visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor communication channels, alarms, and/or CCTV systems; dispatch Security Professionals and/or notify appropriate contacts based on site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and coordinating follow-up as directed.
• Maintain accurate security-related logs and reports, including incident documentation, dispatch activity, and key communications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site area and shift.
