About The Position

As a Security Officer - Document Review in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener supporting a dynamic technology location, you will help manage access points, screen visitors and personnel, verify credentials, and communicate professionally with employees and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Screen individuals, belongings, packages, and vehicles as required by site procedures, verifying credentials and controlling access to restricted areas.
  • Monitor entry points and screening equipment, identify irregularities, and report security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and documentation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, access points, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
