As a Security Officer Screening Agent in TRACY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, screen people and/or materials, and support a smooth, professional operation. You will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipment-related documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting security-related procedures for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
