About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Specialist in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor communications, alarms, cameras, and/or incoming calls from the dispatch area, document activity, and relay information to onsite personnel and local responders as needed.
Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to coordinate resources and support timely communication across the location.
Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, including tracking officer assignments, radio traffic, and key security-related events throughout the shift.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed to support dispatch operations. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
