Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by managing dispatch communications, relaying site-specific instructions, and supporting security-related procedures at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner by receiving calls, prioritizing information, and coordinating appropriate follow-up.
  • Monitor communication channels, access activity, and/or reported concerns, and document security-related events, service requests, and incident details in a timely manner.
  • Support emergency response activities by dispatching personnel, sharing relevant updates with site contacts, and maintaining clear communication during routine and/or high-priority situations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrol coordination around the business and perimeter, and communicate with on-site personnel regarding conditions, coverage needs, and/or observed issues.
