About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Driver in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at an aero and defense location, you will coordinate security-related responses, monitor alarms and cameras, and support officers in the field with clear, calm communication. You will document activity, help manage access and visitor flow, and stay highly visible through routine patrols as needed. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements, with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aero and defense location.
  • Operate the dispatch center by monitoring alarms, cameras, phones, and/or radios; receiving calls for service; and coordinating the response of officers and site resources.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting actions taken and preparing required incident reports and dispatch logs.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns through established channels.
  • Support access control operations by verifying credentials, managing visitor processing and deliveries, and communicating entry and/or exit instructions per site requirements.
