Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location as a Dispatch Officer, coordinating security-related response and communication across the site. You will monitor activity, manage radio and phone traffic, direct patrols to priority areas, document incidents, and support access control while staying visible to help to deter issues. Bring agile problem-solving, reliable follow-through, innovative thinking, and integrity-driven teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, phones, radios, and/or dispatch systems to receive requests for assistance, coordinate responses, and communicate timely updates to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and service requests using required logs and reporting tools, escalating issues per post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to onsite contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking for irregular activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations, and reporting findings per site requirements.
