As a Security Officer - Command Center Dispatch in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Dispatch Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will support day to day security-related operations from a communications hub, monitoring activity, coordinating field patrols, and dispatching responses to incidents and service requests. You will document events, share timely updates with site partners, and help to deter issues through a visible, customer focused presence. Requirements

  • MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government transportation environment.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, camera systems, and other security-related systems; relay information to appropriate personnel and document activity as required.
  • Receive and prioritize calls for service, gather critical details, and coordinate response notifications to help to deter unauthorized activity and reduce disruptions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with location leadership, and assisting arriving responders.
  • Complete detailed dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate pertinent updates during shift change and/or as directed by site procedures.
