About The Position

As a Security Officer - Dispatch Center in Whitehouse Station, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a financial institution location, you will coordinate real-time communications, monitor security-related systems and video feeds, and route officers to calls for service as situations develop. You will document incidents, support routine patrol activity through clear radio and phone updates, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor alarms, video surveillance systems, and access control notifications; prioritize events and dispatch on-site personnel and/or notify appropriate contacts per post orders.
• Receive and route incoming calls and radio traffic; maintain clear communication with officers, building staff, and responding personnel during routine activity and incident response.
• Document routine activity, dispatch actions, and incident details in logs and reports; complete required notifications and follow-up actions according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter unauthorized activity through timely dispatch and coordination.
