About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Athens, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize service requests, document incidents, and coordinate the appropriate response with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate logs of calls, radio traffic, visitor activity, deliveries, and security-related events; prepare clear written reports as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures and communicating updates to appropriate stakeholders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving locations, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
