About The Position

As a Security Officer Dispatch Agent in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic retail location. In this role, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help to deter security-related concerns through quick response and strong customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities from a dispatch setting.
• Monitor radios, phones, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations by dispatching the appropriate personnel, communicating updates, and helping coordinate security-related responses for the location.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and daily activity records, including call details, response times, and status updates for routine and urgent events.
• Support security-related operations across the location by tracking resources, prioritizing incoming requests, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal personnel, client representatives, and/or local responders as needed.
