Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk professional at a financial institution location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access activity, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this highly visible role, you will help to deter incidents by maintaining awareness, assisting with badge and alarm-related processes, and delivering a caring, reliable experience rooted in teamwork, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post within a financial institution location.
  • Greet employees, visitors, and/or vendors, verify identification and access authorization, and help to maintain accurate visitor logs and front desk records.
  • Monitor entry points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems from the front desk, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Support lobby and reception operations by answering questions, directing foot traffic, communicating with site contacts, and documenting security-related concerns, unusual activity, and/or incidents in a timely manner.
