As a Security Officer Day Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and other security-related protocols at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and activities according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, check for unusual conditions, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, communicating clearly with site contacts, and documenting security-related concerns and/or incidents as needed.
