About The Position

As a Security Officer Customer Service in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Assist with access control activities, visitor direction, and monitoring of restricted areas in accordance with healthcare facility policies.
  • Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
