Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while contributing to a reliable and innovative culture.

Requirements

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive manufacturing location, including production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter access points.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying access credentials and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Observe site operations and conditions for unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, and communicate security-related concerns according to post procedures.
